"Our aim is to help the inaugural New York Comic-Con live up to the rich history of New York comic book conventions from the heyday of the '60's and '70's," said DC Comics president/publisher Paul Levitz. "We've assembled an array of talented people to attend the convention that reflect the creative diversity and richness of DC Comics in 2006."

"I am delighted that DC Comics is providing so much talent at our event," notes Greg Topalian, group vp in charge of Launch Pad for Reed Exhibitions. "While there will be a lot to see and do at New York Comic-Con, one of the major attractions is the chance for fans to meet their favorite artists and illustrators. This is a formidable list of talent by any standard of measurement. We will do everything we can to make New York Comic-Con a satisfying experience for them. Fans attending the convention will have the opportunity to get an early look at high profile projects and perhaps to hear exclusive announcements"
