The Walt Disney Co. has tapped THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW writer Jeffrey Nachmanoff to pen three projects, including the feature adaptation of Ubisofts videogame PRINCE OF PERSIA: THE SANDS OF TIME, reports VARIETY. In addition to the Jerry Bruckheimer Films-produced PERSIA, he will also tackle Bruckheimer's UNNATURAL HISTORY and the LivePlanet-produced LIBERTY.

PRINCE OF PERSIA follows an adventurous prince who uncovers a dangerous artifact in a remote mountain kingdom and, with the help of an enemy princess, must stop a tyrant from unleashing a sandstorm that could destroy all mankind.

UNNATURAL HISTORY is an action-adventure that follows a family whom becomes trapped in the Museum of Natural History and must fight creatures once they come to life.

LIBERTY begins after an electromagnetic pulse disables the infrastructure of the U.S. A ragtag group of Americans must then use technology from the 1940s and '50s to defend against a foreign invasion. Ericson Core is set to direct.
