Day After Tomorrow Arrives Today on DVD

One of last summers most widely watched and discussed disaster flicks with Oscar Bake-Off contending vfx, THE DAY AFTER TOMORROW, hits DVD shelves on Oct. 12, 2004, (Fox Home Ent., $29.98).

The disc includes deleted scenes as well as commentaries by director Roland Emmerich, producer Mark Gordon, screenwriter Jeffrey Nachmanoff, cinematographer Ueli Steiger, production designer Barry Chusid and editor David Brenner. Also included among the goodies will be an interactive audio demo and DVD-ROM Weblinks. Vfx was supplied by the likes of Digital Domain, Hydraulx, ILM, The Orphanage Custom Film Effects, Tweak Films and yU+Co.
