Curious George Arrives on VOD & PPV

NBC Universal Cable brings the beloved family classic tale CURIOUS GEORGE to on demand (VOD) and pay-per-view (PPV) on Nov. 9, 2006. Consumers who order the film on demand or on pay-per-view and watch until the end of the credits will get instructions on how to receive a CURIOUS GEORGE beanie toy for free while supplies last.

Matt O'Callahan directs from a screenplay written by Michael McCullers (AUSTIN POWERS: THE SPY WHO SHAGGED ME, AUSTIN POWERS IN GOLDMEMBER, THUNDERBIRD), Daniel Gerson and Rob Baird (MONSTERS, INC.), Joe Stillman (SHREK, SHREK 2) and Karey Kirkpatrick. Will Farrell (ELF, OLD SCHOOL) lends his voice to The Man With The Yellow Hat. Dick Van Dyke, Drew Barrymore, David Cross, Eugene Levy and Joan Plowright are also among the cast of voices. Original songs are written and performed by Jack Johnson.

NBC Universal Cable distributes and markets film and TV entertainment on PPV and video-on-demand VOD released by Universal Pictures, Focus Features, Rogue Pictures and NBC Universal Television Distribution.

PPV is an entertainment service available via cable and satellite. VOD is an entertainment service available via digital cable, select satellite services and the Internet, and allows viewers to watch TV and movies on their terms - by viewing what they want, when they want. With full VCR functionality, VOD allows viewers to stop, pause, rewind and start their favorite programs at any time of the day, all at the touch of a remote control button.
