CreaCon Entertainment has extended its licensing deal with MEI to include ticketed live event and theatre shows, for its popular pre-school property, City of Friends.
CreaCon Entertainment has appointed MEI to manage all ticketed live event and theatre shows worldwide. This adds to their current remit to manage all City of Friends mini-shows and character appearances across Asia, Central and Eastern Europe and the Middle East.
The extended licensing agreement follows the successful debut of ‘City of Friends Live: Mystery in Friends Forest’ - CreaCon’s brand new 90-minute live arena show based on the hit TV series - in Norway in September 2012. City of Friends Live is one of Europe’s largest family shows and achieved ticket sales of 15,000, over six shows in Bergen, Norway. MEI were partners in the development of City of Friends Live and were also behind the successful City of Friends stage show that captured the imagination of family audiences and media at premier lifestyle and entertainment destination The Dubai Mall, in Dubai, in May this year, with over 20 performances staged across one week.
