Manchester, U.K.-based animation house Cosgrove Hall has started production on THE WUMBLERS, a 26x11 2D preschool series for Peak Ent. and The Silly Goose Co.
THE WUMBLERS is a heart-warming collection of tales featuring Bertrum, a young Wumbler, and his best friend, Raimundo, a Spanish-speaking snail. Laura Wellington, recipient soon of the New Jersey Business Woman of the Year award, created the series.
Cosgrove Hall Digital is doing the animation, completely in-house with a paperless 2D process. THE WUMBLERS is definitely a unique preschool program and one that completely lends itself to our 2D digital process, said producer Jon Doyle. The images are clean and strong, the storylines are fun and the characters are doubtlessly going to become preschool favorites."

The show has received strong interest from ABC Australia, CBC Canada, BBC UK and Canal 5 France. Peak Ent. will be taking THE WUMBLERS to MIP-TV.
