Cosgrove Hall Films Restructures

On the eve of Cosgrove Hall Films 30 years in the industry new md, Anthony Utley, has announced a major management restructure. Utley recently disbanded the management team of senior producers, which had been set up temporarily as owners ITV Granada, searched for a new md.

Two senior producer posts have been eliminated while two new roles of exec producer and creative director have been created.

Utley said, After joining the company last year, I have worked with the team to ensure that we are equipped for todays multiplatform, fast moving and forward thinking industry. I have no doubt that we are creating one of the strongest teams, both in management and creativity, in the industry. Cosgrove Hall is a phenomenal force in the animation world and it is my plan to ensure that continues well into the future.

Manchester, England-based Cosgrove Hall (www.chf.co.uk) is wholly owned by Granada, ITVs production division. Cosgrove, established in 1976, has built its reputation as the leading animation house over many years of award-winning productions, from classics such as DANGERMOUSE and WIND IN THE WILLOWS, to up to date remakes of ANDY PANDY and BILL AND BEN through to present productions such as ENGIE BENJY, LITTLE ROBOTS and the evergreen POSTMAN PAT. Cosgrove is one of the few animation houses in the world working extensively in all three types of animation hand-drawn/2D, stop-motion puppet and CGI.
