Cosgrove Hall Films Announces Restructure

Cosgrove Hall Films today announced the recent restructure of the company's operations.

The restructure sees the promotion of Laura Duncalf from Production Manager to the newly created post of Head of Production. Duncalf will be responsible for all of Cosgrove Hall's production activity and will report directly to Anthony Utley, Managing Director. The company has also created the post of Research and Development Assistant to support the senior team and is looking to recruit for that role now. The ensuing management group of four comprises MD Anthony Utley, Creative Director Franc Vose, Financial and Commercial Director Lee Marriott, and Duncalf. Cosgrove Hall's new operational structure comes into operation with immediate effect.

Utley said, "Laura has a strong track record in ensuring world-class programming delivers on time and on budget, and we will be relying on her expertise as we increase the number of our own shows in production as well as continue our important studio for hire work. We recognize that as the U.K. animation industry faces increasingly competitive and challenging market conditions, Cosgrove Hall has to be certain its structure is sufficiently robust and prepared to face these challenges. We believe that by streamlining our business, Cosgrove Hall is well positioned to further capitalize on its position as a leading global animation studio producing both third-party and our own intellectual properties."

Cosgrove Hall Films is Europe's largest and most prolific animation company and one of only a few studios in the world with the ability to produce all three types of animation (drawn / 2D, stop-motion puppet and CGI) under one roof. Created in 1976 by Brian Cosgrove and Mark Hall, Cosgrove Hall has grown to become one of the world's premier animation studios, producing countless hours of animation each year.
