Corus Entertainment Appoints Peter Moss VP Of Programming

Three months after stepping down as head of Cinar, Peter Moss as been appointed to the newly created position of vice president of programming for Corus Television. Beginning May 1, 2002, Moss will be responsible for enhancing programming across all Corus services by developing strategic approaches to program development, acquisition and partnerships. "Peter has an outstanding track record in both public and private television broadcasting as well as production," said Paul Robertson, president of Corus Television. "His broad range of experience and contacts in the industry, both in Canada and abroad, make him an invaluable resource for all of our television services." Moss was president of Cinar for two years before stepping down in January 2002. Prior to his appointment at Cinar, Moss was VP of programming and production for YTV from 1998 to 2000. He has also worked in television at the CBC as creative head of Children's Programming and spent years in theatre, both in England and Canada, as an actor, director and artistic director.
