Cookie Jar Education Ups Posacki & Purcell

Cookie Jar Education Inc., a leading publisher of educational materials and teaching aids, has promoted Roger Posacki to coo, while Tom Purcell comes on board as svp, finance.

Based in Greensboro, North Carolina, Cookie Jar Education is the educational arm of The Cookie Jar Group, owner of Carson-Dellosa Publishing and HighReach Learning.

Posacki will be responsible for the day-to-day operations of Carson-Dellosa�s core retail business, where he was president for the past year. He will also be responsible for the School Division, Unique Collating and Bindery and HighReach Learning. Prior to joining Carson-Dellosa in 2006, Posacki was gm for the Canadian Division of Binney and Smith, Inc., a subsidiary of Hallmark Cards that manufactures and markets art products for children and adults.

Posacki will continue to work out of the Greensboro office and will maintain the role of president of Carson-Dellosa�s core retail business until the position is filled.

Purcell is responsible for all financial matters of the education group. Previously, he was with Educate Inc., a leading K-12 education company that includes Sylvan Learning Centers and Hooked on Phonics. Purcell will also be working out of the Greensboro office.
