Cookie Jar Brings New Shows To Licensing Show 2007

Cookie Jar Ent. is showcasing two of its top-rated properties, THE DOODLEBOPS and CAILLOU and three news series, including the highly anticipated MAGI-NATION, inspired by a successful trading card game, at this year's Licensing Show International in New York City at booth #3633.

Two of Cookie Jar's new shows are set to make their world debut at Licensing Show. Inspired by the bestselling children's author Richard Scarry, who sold more than 150 million books worldwide and continues to sell millions annually, HURRAY FOR HUCKLE! (BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES) blends laughter and learning by following the lives of six unforgettable characters in their fun vehicles, like Lowly Worm's Apple Car, as they try to solve everyday life mysteries. This fall the show airs as part of the Kids' CBC preschool programming block and on RTE, Ireland's public broadcasting network. HURRAY FOR HUCKLE! (BUSYTOWN MYSTERIES) will debut on public broadcasting networks, YLE (Finland), NRK (Norway) and RUV (Iceland) early in 2008.

WILL & DEWITT, is also set to debut this fall on Kids' WB! on the CW and YTV (Canada). This funny empowerment show for preschoolers stars Will, an everyday kid with an endless thirst for big kid adventure. Dewitt, his talking frog and personal life coach, helps guide Will toward his destiny of discovering that all things are possible.

MAGI-NATION debuts this fall on Kids' WB! on The CW, CBC and Radio-Canada. Based on the popular trading card game, MAGI-NATION follows Tony Jones, a teenager who finds himself mysteriously transported to the magical world of the Moonlands. Here Tony joins two other young Magi and their Dream Creatures and sets off on the adventure of a lifetime. Fans will be able to experience the show's continuing action via the Internet with the first multiplayer online game, MAGI DREAM CREATURE ARENA, coming this fall. This online brand extension will allow fans to become their own Magi by engaging in live competition against other players and using Dream Creatures.

Coinciding with THE DOODLEBOPS' third season on Playhouse Disney is the release of the band's newest DVD from Lionsgate, GET UP AND GROOVE WITH THE DOODLEBOPS. More THE DOODLEBOPS are on the way this fall with another DVD (Lionsgate) and CD (Walt Disney Records) both titled, GET ON THE BUS, plus a line of Doodlebops toys, created by iToys, will also hit shelves this fall. Musical instruments, microphones, dance mats and role play toys highlight a toy line that will give kids everything they need to create a full concert experience at home. On the heels of a successful tour comes the second Doodlebops Live U.S. tour presented by Feld Ent. Tickets are on sale now for the 75-city tour that kicks off at Madison Square Garden on Oct. 6 and runs through April 2008.

Celebrating a decade on television, CAILLOU has a newly revamped website, top-selling DVDs in Spain, Portugal and Germany, and four of the top five children's DVDs on ShopPBS.com. CAILLOU continues to earn strong ratings on broadcasters worldwide, such as PBS, TELETOON (Canada), Cartoon Network (UK), SuperRTL (Germany), TVE (Spain) and more, as well as a top performer on PBS Kids Sprout VOD service. There will be a line of CAILLIOU toddler diapers, created by Associated Hygienic Products, arriving in CVS stores this summer.
