Companies Announce Support for Adobe CS6

AJA Video, Tiffen, Vizrt and Singular Software announce support for the forthcoming Creative Suite 6 Production Premium from Adobe.

Adobe’s recent revelations about the forthcoming Creative Suite 6 Production Premium – which comes with major updates for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 and Adobe After Effects CS6 – have prompted a rash of announcements about support for the new software versions:

AJA Video Systems announced planned support for the upcoming release of Adobe Creative Suite 6 software with AJA's Io Express, Io XT and KONA family of products for both Mac and Windows customers. The new drivers supporting Adobe Creative Suite 6 will be available as a free download from AJA shortly after the new Adobe Creative Suite 6 products are released.

The Tiffen Company announced that its award-winning Tiffen Dfx digital filter suite will support the upcoming Adobe Creative Suite 6 software. A powerful plug-in for video/film editors and photographers, Tiffen Dfx v3 integrates seamlessly with Adobe After Effects, Adobe Premiere Pro and Photoshop, bringing its world-renowned optical filter effects into software form. Attendees at NAB 2012 can get a hands-on look at the Tiffen Dfx v3 for Adobe Creative Suite 6 at the Tiffen booth (C8818).

Vizrt announced the latest integration of the Viz Media Engine with the upcoming release of Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 software. This new integration gives editors more efficient productivity by allowing them to search and select source material from Viz Media Engine within Adobe Premiere Pro CS6. Selected source material is dragged onto the timeline and media is directly available without a time-consuming file-transfer. The finished product can then be rendered and exported to the Viz Media Engine through a dialogue where in metadata can be added to the material.

Singular Software announced its multi-award winning PluralEyes software now offers full support for the upcoming Adobe Creative Suite 6 software. Available for Mac and Windows, PluralEyes leverages the built-in capability in Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 video editing software to export and re-import XML data for seamless project exchange. Users will be able to download the PluralEyes integration component for Adobe Premiere Pro CS6 through the Adobe Exchange, its new online extension and plug-in marketplace.
