Los Angeles –

To kick off Hewlett Packard’s worldwide launch of the company’s Envy 27 monitors featuring Beats Audio, visual effects house Rogues Gallery created an effects-laden video integrating the monitor’s distinct style with Beats Audio’s distinct sound.

The short video for HP was directed by Rogues Gallery’s Charles Paek and shot by cinematographer Jeffrey Waldron, with original music by Kevin Riepl (Gears of War). Showcasing sound from Beats Audio, the video highlights Rogues Gallery’s signature ability to create stunning CG effects and showcase a brand.

Director Paek and Rogues Gallery created the spot from pre to post-production. Paek integrated live action with Rogues Gallery’s photoreal CG effects in a “collision” of digital tools that mirrored HP’s collaboration with Beats Audio.

Recently, Rogues Gallery created photo-real CG and visual effects for the trailers for the popular PC game Hawken, which has garnered millions of YouTube views and accolades. In addition, Rogues Gallery has also created campaigns for Beats by Dre, Comcast, Acura and Nike.

Based in Los Angeles, Rogues Gallery specializes in visual effects, photo-real CG, and motion graphics for games, commercials and films. Focused on delivering quality work, Charles Paek and Brian Wee lead the team at Rogues Gallery to create commercials and campaigns for Toyota, Nickelodeon, TNT, McDonalds, Beats by Dre and many others.
