Codename: Kids Next Door Returns for Third Season on Cartoon Network

CODENAME: KIDS NEXT DOOR returns May 21, 2004 for its third season on Cartoon Network with new episodes to air at 7:00 pm with an encore at 10:00 pm on Fridays. The Kids Next Door will face some truly fearsome challenges, like the Homework Bandits, the power-mad Headmistress Margaret and their archenemies, the Delightful Children from Down the Lane.

CODENAME: KIDS NEXT DOOR focuses on the exploits of one of the movement's top groups of operatives, who have their home base in an elaborate treehouse in an otherwise mundane suburb. Numbuh One (real name: Nigel Uno) is the bossy and confident leader of the group. Numbuh Two (Hoagie P. Gilligan, Jr.) is an excitable goofball and expert pilot. Numbuh Three (Kuki Sanban) is cute and flirty, but she always completes her assignments flawlessly. Numbuh Four (Wallabee Beatles), an impulsive Australian, likes to throw punches first and talk second. And Numbuh Five (Abigail Lincoln), the calm and even-tempered member of the team, steps up when some sneaking around needs to be done.

Amongst the 13 new episodes is "OPERATION U.N.D.E.R.C.O.V.E.R," which airs May 21. The Kids Next Door are given remarkable strategic information about the Adult's Coffee Drilling Operation from an undercover mole deep in the enemy's organization. Also airing that day is "OPERATION: B.E.A.C.H." - On a beach holiday, Numbuh Three discovers that chivalry is not dead when the king of a nearby sandcastle asks her to become his queen. Too bad he and his fearsome knights will not take no for an answer.

CODENAME: KIDS NEXT DOOR, created by Tom Warburton, and produced by Curious Pictures, airs daily on Cartoon Network (www.CartoonNetwork.com), is seen by more than 14.7 million viewers each week.
