Codemasters selects NXN alienbrain Studio

Top video game publisher and developer Codemasters has chosen NXN alienbrain Studio by NXN Software. Codemasters will equip all its game studios with more than 200 seats of NXN alienbrain Studio to manage the thousands of art assets and source code files created throughout the development of upcoming titles for PlayStation 2, Xbox and PC.

"We rigorously tested a number of different systems before making NXN alienbrain Studio our choice for both code and art asset management," said Richard Darling, founder/creative director at Codemasters. "NXN alienbrain Studio offers the most comprehensive and, at the same time, easy-to-use development framework. We will also be using NXN alienbrain to speed up internal and external communication, including the license managers at the top 17 football clubs in Europe for our eagerly anticipated Club Football series."

With artists, programmers and managers working on the same system, the studio-wide implementation of NXN alienbrain Studio will provide Codemasters with development continuity and security across teams. This will mean improved team collaboration and enhanced productivity, allowing Codemasters to work even more efficiently, and succeed in a competitive environment.

NXN alienbrain Studio is the first asset management system to support artists and programmers in one framework, delivering the advanced version control, workflow and software configuration management functionality needed to enable teams to manage all their project files from concept to completion.
