CN Unveils All-New ‘Powerpuff Girls’ Episode on iTunes

New episode from the all-new, reimagined ‘The Powerpuff Girls’ series had its debut at a free, open-to-the-public event held Monday night at the SXSW festival in Austin, TX.

The first episode of the all-new, reimagined The Powerpuff Girls series is now available for viewing on iTunes!

Kicking off its global return to television with a world premiere event Monday night at the South by Southwest festival in Austin, TX, the debut of highly-anticipated new series was open to the public, giving fans of all ages the first look at the reimagined show, complete with an exclusive screening and a larger-than-life balloon parade.

For those who couldn’t attend the event in Austin, don’t worry -- we’ve got you covered! Starting today, an all-new episode, “Man Up,” from the upcoming series is available now -- for free! -- exclusively via iTunes.

In the episode, when Buttercup’s aggression inadvertently allows villain Man-Boy to escape, she starts a new-age lifestyle in an effort to be more calm. But when Man-Boy returns to enact his revenge, Buttercup must embrace the balance between punching and hugging in order to defeat him. You can watch it here.

Originally created by Craig McCracken, The Powerpuff Girls is produced by Cartoon Network Studios, with Nick Jennings (Adventure Time, SpongeBob SquarePants) serving as executive producer and Bob Boyle (Wow! Wow! Wubbzy!) as co-executive producer. The all-new series premieres on Cartoon Network on Monday, April 4 at 6:00 p.m. ET/PT.
