Press Release from Cinema Management Group

Beverly Hills, CA – November 1, 2010 – Edward Noeltner’s Beverly Hills based international sales company Cinema Management Group (CMG) announced that he’ll be bringing  two 3D Animated films to their American Market lineup; Zambezia is set for release in June 2011 while Khumba is set for June 2012. The films are being animated and produced by Capetown based Triggerfish Studios. Zambezia is directed by Wayne Thronley and produced by Stuart Forrest, Mike Buckland, and Anthony Silverston.  Greg and Claire Becker, Edward Noeltner, Peter Graham, and Steven Hayes are executive producers.  The animated feature stars the voice talents of Jeremy Suarez (Brother Bear), Phil LaMarr (Family Guy, Futurama), Jim Cummings (The Princess and the Frog, The Lion King, Winnie the Pooh), and Jennifer Lewis (The Princess and the Frog, Cars). Zambezia tells the tale of Kai, a young Taita Falcon from a remote outpost who dreams of flying one day as a member of the prestigious Hurricane Defense Patrol.  When Kai’s father is captured, he is forced to abandon his outpost and flee to Zambezia, a bird city and breeding sanctuary in the heart of Africa.  However, Kai soon finds himself in the middle of a deadly plot concocted by his father’s kidnappers—who have joined forces with giant, egg-eating lizards—to overthrow Zambezia. Khumba is directed by Anthony Silverston and produced by Stuart Forrest.  The film is currently in production with a delivery date set for June 2012. Khumba follows a young, half-striped zebra born into an isolated herd obsessed with stripes.  When a rumor spreads that he is cursed, his father, the leader of the herd, blames him for the draught that sets in and the subsequent death of his mother.  He is forced out as an outcast, which leads him on a journey that will reveal the true source of the draught. “The rich music and colors of Africa have come alive on both of these movies made for the whole family. The talented people at Triggerfish are doing a great job bringing Zambezia and Khumba to life,” said CMG’s Noeltner.  “I’ll be bringing clips that I can show in our office in 3-D at AFM of Zambezia. The early work I’ve seen so far on Khumba has just been amazing.” Cinema Management Group’s office at AFM is at the Loews Hotel Suite 530.CMG is a full service international sales company with over 100 titles in its catalogue.
