Click 3X's Peter Corbett & Ders Hallgren Launch Stoked

Debut projects at newly-launched New York-based design collective include a series of digital videos for Absolut Spark and a limited-edition illuminated bottle for Absolut Vodka.

NEW YORK -- Recognizing the industry’s desire for design driven storytelling, industry veterans Peter Corbett and Ders Hallgren of Click 3X have partnered to create an exciting new design collective, aptly named Stoked.

Stoked creates compelling experiences across all media, integrating designers, directors, writers, animators and producers with a back-to-basics approach that results in a quality-first mantra amidst an industry largely fed by quantity. Stoked’s debut work includes a series of digital videos for Absolut Spark, a limited edition, illuminated bottle from Absolut Vodka. The videos have already been a runaway success, collectively garnering almost 20 million views on Facebook. Stoked is also working on a project for Movado that will launch this quarter.  

“Design needs to be more than just pretty pictures,” said Hallgren. “We craft stories that solve problems and reach people in unique ways. By understanding the individualized needs of each brand we work with, we are able to bring thoughtful design driven creative that is rooted in strategy to each project.”

Following a six-year tenure as Creative Director of Click 3X, Ders is relinquishing his position to solely focus on the new endeavor. In addition to his work at the company, he has been a live-action director, designer and creative thinker for a long range of clients and brands including Nike, PBS, Dell and CBS. His work has been recognized by PromaxBDA, Telly, Communication Arts, Stash and has received multiple Emmy nominations.

Peter Corbett said, “Ders is a master of creating profound narratives and integrating our one-of-a-kind tools into the design process. He’s a first-class Creative Director, so to partner on an endeavor that’s purely through his lens is an opportunity I’m especially excited to be a part of.”

Stoked is sharing space with Click 3X in the Flatiron district and has continued access and collaboration with the sister company’s resources including live action, editorial and digital.
