Click 3X Adds Animator Hayley Morris to Directorial Roster

Commercial director brings focus on traditional animation techniques to tell stories that unfold through layered textures, hand-crafted details and inventive storytelling.

NEW YORK -- Click 3X has announced the addition of Hayley Morris to its roster of directors. Morris brings to Click 3X a focus on traditional animation techniques to tell stories that unfold through layered textures, hand-crafted details and inventive storytelling.

“At Click 3X, we lead with great creative and leverage technologies to convey visually appealing and stimulating stories. That’s why we’re so excited to bring Hayley onto the team. She adds a unique passion for traditional animation, a technique that combines ‘old’ and ‘new’ for modernized, vintage feel,” said Camille Geier, Executive Producer, Click 3X. “She’s rounding out our director roster in a powerful way.”

Morris’s work has been shown at La Gaîté Lyrique’s, “Motion Factory” exhibit in Paris, which showcased 15 directors from around the world whom create hand-made films in a digital age. She has also directed commercials for clients such as Samsung, HP, Burt's Bees, HumanaOne, Kate Spade, The Detroit Zoo, Paragard and many more. In addition, Morris has a passion for making music videos and has created animated worlds for Iron & Wine, Grammy Award winning violinist, Hilary Hahn, and pianist, Hauschka. 

“Click 3X has the resources and tools to bring creative visions to life. By weaving in traditional animation techniques to their already holistic offerings, I’m excited to bring those inventive concepts to the next level,” said Morris.

Morris’ work has been featured in film festivals and museums around the world. Her short film Undone won the Grand Jury Prize for Best Animated Short at Slamdance in 2009. Hayley also teaches stop-motion animation at the Rhode Island School of Design.
