Classic Media and its affiliate, Bullwinkle Studios, have signed a licensing deal with Movielink the broadband video-on-demand (VOD) service, to create a "Cartoon Classics" section on www.Movielink.com. As part of the deal, Movielink will make more than 350 half-hours of classic cartoon programming available for download. Under the terms of the agreement, consumers can download episodes of ROCKY & BULLWINKLE & FRIENDS, CASPER THE FRIENDLY GHOST, FELIX THE CAT, DICK TRACY and MR. MAGOO. From April 2-15, Movielink will offer a 25% discount on all rented Classic Media titles.
"Classic Media manages one of the world's most highly prized family entertainment portfolios," said Jessica Algazi, Movielink's vp of content. "Their animated characters are an important part of American pop culture and Movielink is thrilled to be the online hub for BULLWINKLE, MR. MAGOO and other favorite cartoon classics."

Our deep library of family favorites will broaden the audience for Movielink, offering short form content choices for all ages."

Customers can download their favorite cartoons from Movielink and store them on their hard drive for up to 30 days. Once play is initiated, they can watch the cartoon as many times as they would like in a 24-hour period. Favorite cartoons can be viewed at home via the PC, a television connected to the PC or downloaded to a laptop for traveling.
Bullwinkle Studios is a joint venture between Classic Media and Jay Ward Prods. Inc., creators of ROCKY & BULLWINKLE, GEORGE OF THE JUNGLE, TOM SLICK and SUPERCHICKEN, among others.
