Chuggington To Ride The Rails On Rai Yoyo

Ludorum plc, a leading specialist in the creation of global pre-school children's IP, announced today that it has secured an agreement with Italian public broadcaster, Rai Yoyo for their pre-school hit, Chuggington.

London 9 November 2011: Ludorum plc, a leading specialist in the creation of global pre-school children's IP, announced today that it has secured an agreement with Italian public broadcaster, Rai Yoyo for their pre-school hit, Chuggington.  Rai Yoyo has acquired the first series of 52 x 10 minute episodes which will launch in late 2011.

Chuggington has already established itself on Disney Italy which acquired the first two series of 92 x 10 minute episodes plus 52 x 4 minute ‘mini-episodes’ of Chuggington Badge Quest, which offers an extension to the main Chuggington series.  Chuggington made its Italian debut on Disney in December 2009.

Ludorum has secured a raft of licensees for Chuggington in Italy including including; DeAgostini (publishing), Giochi Preziosi (arts and crafts, back to school), Ravensburger (puzzles), Zaini (seasonal confectionary), Dolfin (Easter eggs), Marini Silvano (socks and accessories), BBS (party goods), Lisciani Giochi (educational toys), Universal (home entertainment), Ciga Toys (pocket money toys) and Mondo (balls and scooters).  Global licensees include TOMY, Trudeau and MEGA Brands.
