Press Release from Ludorum

Riding the rails has never been sweeter!  “Chuggington” the preschool hit from children’s entertainment company, Ludorum, will help young “trainees” and their families from coast-to-coast get on board with healthy eating when a new cross-promotional campaign from Anchor Bay Entertainment and Well-Pict Berries leaves the station this summer.  The partnership coincides with the August 2, 2011 release of Anchor Bay’s newest “Chuggington” DVD, “It’s Training Time.”

Poised to give kids and families nationwide even more to “honk their horns” about this summer, the promotional campaign offers consumers the opportunity to receive a $3 rebate check by mail when they purchase “It’s Training Time” or any other “Chuggington” DVD from Anchor Bay and one 1-lb strawberry clamshell package from Well-Pict.  Well-Pict’s packaging and other marketing and advertising materials will call out the special “Chuggington” promotion with on-pack graphics of the “It’s Training Time” DVD on 12 million strawberry packages.  In addition, the new title will include a Well-Pict insert featuring recipes customized for preschoolers and parents to prepare together.

“We are very excited about teaming up with Well-Pict for this special promotion that brings parents engaging, age-appropriate entertainment coupled with healthful, wholesome ‘fuel’ that young ‘Chuggington’ fans everywhere will enjoy,” said Julie Cartwright, SVP of Brand Marketing for Anchor Bay Entertainment.

In addition to “It’s Training Time,” two other “Chuggington” DVD titles, “Let’s Ride The Rails” and “Chuggers To The Rescue,” are part of this cross promotion.
