Chow Yun-Fat is set to play Master Roshi in 20th Century Fox's live-action big-screen version of DRAGONBALL, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Chow joins fellow cast members Justin Chatwin, James Marsters, Emmy Rossum and Jamie Chung.
In the film, humanoid alien Goku is sent to Earth to destroy all life, but instead follows his grandfather's wishes to collect the seven mystical Dragon Balls, keeping them out of the hands of evil aliens.
James Wong is directing, with Stephen Chow producing.
The movie is set to film in Mexico City and Los Angeles.
