Yellow Submarine Sunk
Disney has scrapped plans to produce Robert Zemeckis' performance capture remake of the 1968 Beatles animated film, YELLOW SUBMARINE, reports ComingSoon.net. It was the last picture greenlit under Disney's now cancelled deal with Zemeckis' ImageMovers Digital.
With the timing of the news, some have speculated that the decision was a direct response to the poor performance of MARS NEEDS MOMS, but insiders tell ComingSoon.net that the cancellation was handed down months ago.

THANK GEEZUS. Zemeckis will maybe now realize that his LIFELESS ahem, "animated" creations are CREEPY AS HELL and stop making them. Go back to film, where you actually had some success.
And did he honestly think he was going to make Yellow Submarine better than the original? Lets hire some new musicians while we're at it, and see if they can make better music than the Beatles.
Seems like he loves exercises in futility.
Douche.
