Walden Media is developing a buddy comedy take on the story of the magic genie, reports VARIETY. Kerner Ent.'s Jordon Kerner is producing the film titled GENE. Walden picked up the pitch for the project from TOOTH FAIRY scribe Randi Mayem Singer, who will write the script.
