Tomb Raider Gains Iron Man Writers
GK Films has hired IRON MAN writers Mark Fergus and Hawk Ostby to re-imagine TOMB RAIDER for the screen, according to The Hollywood Reporter. Graham King and Tim Headington are producing.
Based on the Square Enix game, the film will be an origin tale for its heroine Lara Croft.
The studio hopes to have the film ready for a 2013 release.
Fergus and Ostby earned an Oscar nod for their work on CHILDREN OF MEN. Their other credits include AKIRA and COWBOYS & ALIENS.
