Deadline.com reports that MTV has greenlit a second season of TEEN WOLF. The new pick-up of 12 episodes will start airing in 2012. The cast includes Tyler Posey, Crystal Reed and Dylan O’Brien.

Jeff Davis, Marty Adelstein, Michael Thorn, Rene Echevarria, Tony DiSanto and Liz Gateley exec produce with Russell Mulcahy on as co-exec producer. David Janollari and Justin Levy oversee for the network. MGM produces the show alongside Lost Marbles Prods, First Cause and DiGa.
