Pierre Morel (TAKEN) is set to helm EDF as his next project, according to The Hollywood Reporter. EDF, which stands for Earth Defense Force, follows Earth's response to a devastating early strike by alien force that where gagging human's ability to fight back.

Sam Raimi and QED International's Bill Block are the producers. QED is funding and Warner Bros. will distribute.
