Super 8 Headed to FX
As is their modus operandi, FX has picked up the rights to this past weekend's box office champ SUPER 8, writes The Hollywood Reporter. The cable channel will broadcast the J.J. Abrams' sci-fi flick in late 2013 or early 2014. The film premiered at #1 with $37 million. Recent box office #1s the network has acquired include Fox's X-MEN: FIRST CLASS, Disney's TRON: LEGACY, Sony's THE GREEN HORNET, Paramount's RANGO and Warner Bros.' THE HANGOVER PART II.
