George Lucas revealed that the long in the works STAR WARS live-action TV series is simply waiting for technology to catch up with his vision, reports The New York Post. Lucas said that 50 hours of scripts have been written already for the potential series, which would follow Darth Vader's exploits between REVENGE OF THE SITH and A NEW HOPE. Because Lucas wants to give the series a feature film quality in regards to vfx, he is waiting for a technological breakthrough that can allow them to produce feature quality visual effects on a tenth of a feature budget.
