Stephen Sommers is set to return as director of a G.I. JOE sequel, reports THE WRAP. Channing Tatum is set to return as the film's star. Paramount Pictures hired Rhett Reese and Paul Wernick (ZOMBIELAND) to write the script. Sommers will produce with Lorenzo di Bonaventura again as well.
