Shawn Levy to Direct Pinocchio Prequel
Fox has purchased Michael Vukadinovich's spec script THE THREE MISFORTUNES OF GEPPETTO with Shawn Levy attached to direct, reports Deadline.com. The story is a PINOCCHIO prequel, which tells the story of the lengths the toymaker has gone through to be with his true love. It's being called a cross between BIG FISH and THE PRINCESS BRIDE. Levy will also produce via his 21 Laps along with Dan Cohen and Billy Rosenberg.
