Paramount Picks Up Bradbury's Martian Chronicles

Paramount has picked up the rights to Ray Bradbury's THE MARTIAN CHRONICLES, reports Deadline.com. The studio is out looking for a writer. The story follows Earth's attempts to colonize Mars and their battles with Martians. Universal was previously developing the project. The sci-fi epic was previously adapted into the 1980 TV miniseries, starring Rock Hudson.
