Former CEO of Marvel Studios Avi Arad is working on a 3-D CG animated PAC-MAN television series, reports VARIETY. Working with Namco Bandai, the producer wants to transform the yellow guy, who is celebrating his 30th anniversary, into a reluctant high school hero. The premise follows Pac-Man and his friends as they try to stop ghosts from taking over their world. In this version, Pac-Man's game enemies, the ghosts Pinky, Inky, Blinky and Clyde, are his allies. Arad hopes the series will be able to answer the age-old questions of what happened to Pac-Man's parents and why is he yellow?
