Minkoff Taking Chinese Odyssey

LION KING director Rob Minkoff will helm the 3-D fantasy CHINESE ODYSSEY, according to THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER. Minkoff will also produce with Pietro Ventani via their Tiger 62 Media. They're partnering with the China Film Group and Beijing Galloping Horse Film & TV.

The story puts a hero on a high-seas adventure battling sea monsters and solving ancient mysteries.

The production will be mainly shot in China.
