Marvel Studios has hired XXX scribe Rich Wilkes to pen a feature adaptation of IRON FIST, reports Deadline.com. Created by Ray Thomas and Gil Kane, the comic followed a martial arts expert who gained indestructible fists when he punched the heart of a dragon.

Disney will distribute the film. The Mouse House, via Artisan, was developing an IRON FIST film almost a decade ago for Ray Park (X-MEN) to star in.
