Mangold to Direct The Wolverine

20th Century Fox has selected 3:10 TO YUMA director James Mangold to helm THE WOLVERINE, reports Deadline.com. Christopher McQuarrie penned the script and Hugh Jackman will return to star. The new film will place the mutant hero in Japan. Fox hopes to start filming this fall. This ends the heated search for a new director after Darren Aronofsky left the production over scheduling concerns.
