VARIETY reports that Spain-based Dygra Films has hired MADAGASCAR scribe Billy Frolick to pen HOLY NIGHT!, an English-language 3-D animated Christmas flick. The $19 million production will be the first 3-D Spanish film. It's set to hit screens by the end of the year.

The story takes place on Christmas Eve when Santa Claus' sleigh is stolen and Baby Jesus is kidnapped. Juan Galinanes, David Munoz and Antonio Trashorras are the directors.
