LEGO Star Wars TV Special in the Works
ComingSoon.net got the word from Licensing International Expo that a LEGO STAR WARS TV special is in the works. Details are few, but the special will arrive in late September. The wildly popular videogames have given a humorous spin on the STAR WARS film trilogies and CLONE WARS TV show.
The STAR WARS franchise, which is celebrating its 35 anniversary in 2012, also has a second animated series, PHANTOM MENACE in 3-D and the original trilogy on Blu-ray on the horizon. The property earned its highest gross in merchandising in a non-film year ever last year.
