Kung Fu Panda Director to Talk at SIGGRAPH Asia
Further to Ken Perlin and Bill Buxton, SIGGRAPH Asia has announced that Jennifer Yuh Nelson and Raymond Zibach will complement the Featured Speakers program at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011. Director and production designer of DreamWorks Animation's Academy Award-nominated motion picture Kung Fu Panda and sequel Kung Fu Panda 2, Nelson and Zibach will both present at SIGGRAPH Asia 2011 in Hong Kong this December 12-15.
Both speakers will take attendees through their research process and trip to China to uncover important cultural elements portrayed in the movie, and the complex animation used to achieve realistic Kung Fu moves.
