KI.KA Set To Air Nelvana's Pearlie And Jane And The Dragon

(October 30, 2009 - Toronto, Canada) - Nelvana Enterprises has completed a broadcast sales deal with Germany's KI.KA for its shows PEARLIE and JANE AND THE DRAGON.

KI.KA has purchased 26 episodes of PEARLIE, co-produced with Australia's Sticky Pictures, about a fairy less than two inches high who is small in stature but big on glamour and full of style. The series will air weekdays at 1:35 p.m. CET starting Monday, November 2.

Also on tap are 26 episodes of JANE AND THE DRAGON, a series co-produced with Weta Productions Ltd. of New Zealand, about the adventures of a 13-year-old girl who is a Knight in Training in Medieval times and her best friend, a giant green dragon. KI.KA will air the series weekdays at 5:15 p.m. CET starting Wednesday, November 18.
