Illumination Ent. has hired two new execs and promoted another employee at the hybrid CG studio, reports The Hollywood Reporter. Brooke Breton has been named senior production exec, while Kit Giordano is the new director of development. Company head Chris Meledandri has also promoted his exec assistant Kristin Wong-Ward to creative exec.

Breton is the producer on the DESPICABLE ME theme park ride for Universal Studios Orlando. Her producing credits include AVATAR, SKY CAPTAIN AND THE WORLD OF TOMORROW and THE ROAD TO EL DORADO. Giordano was most recently a vp at Ben Stiller’s Red Hour Films, where she associate produced 30 MINUTES OF LESS. Prior to that she was a development exec at Gunn Films.
