Juan Jose Campanella, who just took home the Best Foreign Language Oscar for THE SECRET IN THEIR EYES, is set to helm Argentina’s first 3-D animated feature, FOOSBALL, reports VARIETY.

Campanella co-wrote the script with Eduardo Sacheri, who wrote the book on which SECRET was based, Gaston Gorali and Axel Kuschevatzky. Campanella will produce with Plural-Jempsa.

Production on the $9.4 million production will soon start in Spain and Argentina.
