DreamWorks Animation has released a new 32-second clip previewing its upcoming CG animated feature The Croods.

Directed and written by Kirk DeMicco (Space Chimps) and Chris Sanders (How to Train Your Dragon), the film tells the story of a prehistoric family forced to search for a new home when an earthquake displaces them from their familiar cave.

The world premiere for The Croods will take place at the 63rd Berlin International Film Festival in February, while the U.S. theatrical release is scheduled for March 22, 2013. The film is the first of three theatrical movies from DreamWorks Animation this year, the other two being Turbo (July 19) and Mr. Peabody and Sherman (November 1).

The Croods features the voices of Nicolas Cage, Ryan Reynolds, Emma Stone, Catherine Keener, Clark Duke and Cloris Leachman.
