Jeffrey Katzenberg told THE HOLLYWOOD REPORTER that DreamWorks Animation plans to have a HOW TO TRAIN YOUR DRAGON sequel in theaters by the second half of 2013. Additionally, the studio has a live arena show, TV series and online virtual world in the works. Katzenberg pointed to the film's box office legs as the reason the studio is investing so much in the franchise, putting in the "beloved" category.

Katzenberg also talked up this year's Halloween special SCARED SHREKLESS and a holiday-theme KUNG FU PANDA special.
