Announcement from cebas Visual Technology:

Victoria, BC -- cebas Visual Technology announced that its thinkingParticles tool was heavily relied on in some of the feature scenes for Snow White and The Huntsman. The Universal Pictures fairy tale reboot was released in the U.S. on June 1, and has already made box office headlines.

Visual effects artist Paul Hormis, who worked specifically with thinkingParticles to produce the Knights and Helmet Shattering scenes in the movie, stated in an interview that, “Nothing compares to thinkingParticles. The ability to, basically, do whatever your mind can think of (and more) makes it one of the most versatile plug-ins that I have ever used. At this point I could not see doing anything, particle and dynamics-wise, in any other package other than thinkingParticles."

Paul Hormis has been doing 3D and Animation for 23 years and is currently a visual effects artist with Pixomondo, L.A, an international powerhouse in visual effects production and 3D animation among many other specializations in the movie industry.
