Voice Actress Gilbert Dies

Patti Gilbert, who worked as a voice actress in the early '70s, has passed away on Jan. 15, reports Variety. She died of complications from diabetes. She was 79 years old.

Gilbert voiced Princess of Sweet Rhyme in THE PHANTOM TOLLBOOTH and characters on UNCLE SAM MAGOO. Her other voice work included TV commercials.

Her second marriage was to UPA Prods. owner Henry G. Saperstein.

Her other TV work included playing King Tut's wife on BATMAN, as well as guest spots on GET SMART, THAT GIRL and FELONY SQUAD.

Daughters Laurel Phillips and Gina Moffitt and three grandchildren survive her.
