South African animator Mike Scott has created a new 52-episode shorts series called HAPPYLAND SHORTS. The shorts follow the silly adventures of bell-shaped Heavy and the nimble Paper, who often gets Heavy into mischief. The characters originally appeared in a HAPPYLAND TV pilot in 2007.

Scott has worked on South African kids shows such as JOZI ZOO, COOL CATZ and designed puppets and backgrounds for JAKKALS JOL. He also animated shorts for CORNE & TWAKKIE, THE MOST AMAZING SHOW and FOREST OF EXTREME PAIN & SUFFERING. His other credits include Spanish TV series SINCOPATS, music videos for Goldfish, and commercials for Madam & Eve and LOTTO TV.
