FOX has ordered a presentation and script for a new animated project from Russell Brand, reports Deadline.com. The British comedian plans to voice the lead character, which will be loosely based on himself in his 20s.

BOB'S BURGERS writer/producers Dan Fybel and Rich Rinaldi will pen the script. 20th Century Fox TV and Chernin Ent. are the studios with Brand, Fybel, Rinaldi, Peter Chernin, Katherine Pope and Brand's Branded Films' Nik Linnen and Beau Bauman exec producing.
