Rob the Robot is Heading to Latin America

Beverly Hills/Ottawa, September 19, 2010 - Televix Entertainment has acquired the Latin American Broadcast, Home Video, and Online VOD rights for Rob the Robot from Amberwood Entertainment and ONE Animation.  

The 52x11 minute pre-school series just launched on Canada’s TVO and was also recently picked up for a second season of an additional 52x11 minute episodes.

Televix Entertainment will be presenting the series to Latin American broadcasters commencing at MIPJunior 2010 where the series will be available for screening.

In making the announcement, Jonathan Wiseman, Senior Vice-President at Amberwood said, “We are delighted to be working again with Televix Entertainment. They are proven experts in their region and will be instrumental in the rollout of the Rob the Robot brand.”

The 3D animated series follows the adventures of Rob and his friends as they explore the fantastical planets of the Robot Galaxy which are ripe with humour and fun.

The first season is a co-production between Canada’s Amberwood Entertainment and Singapore’s One Animation.  It is produced with support from the MDA, CMF, and the Shaw Rocket Fund.
